2020 Volunteer of the Year

Habitat for Humanity of Kershaw County proudly announces our Volunteer of the year for 2020. Bryan Huggins has been a mainstay on the Thursday morning construction team. He is always open and eager to learn something new. Bryan’s easy-going style and willingness to learn make him a joy to work with said Jody Stevens, Habitat Construction Manager. Bryan joined the Habitat volunteer team in 2019 after retiring from a long banking career. He was born in Hemingway, SC attending Johnsonville High School and then on to study at Clemson University. Bryan proudly served his country in the Air Force with a four-year tour of duty. While working in Myrtle Beach Bryan met Wanda and they began their life together. Wanda graduated from Camden High School, pursued a career in finance and rounded out her career as a real estate paralegal prior to retiring.  Married for Forty-Five years, they have been blessed with two children, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
